A valid login can still leave a transaction gap
The expected security checks may all be completed successfully at login, yet control of the session can still change before a beneficiary is added, account details are updated, or a payment is approved. Beyond banking: Where in-app fraud risk appears
South Africa faces fresh greylist threat under tougher FATF rules
The next FATF assessment will look beyond whether the right laws exist and focus on whether they work in practice. The country will need to demonstrate progress through investigations, prosecutions, convictions and asset recovery. A return to the greylist could increase compliance costs and slow cross-border transactions, reminding regulated businesses that compliance must be demonstrable and effective.

Adding a beneficiary changes where the money can go
Every new beneficiary creates a destination for future payments, often several minutes after the customer was verified at login. Continuous Facial Recognition with Liveness can extend identity assurance to this higher-risk action while supporting the bank’s existing authentication and fraud controls.
Confirming that a claim is valid does not confirm who requested the change to the payout details. Continuous Facial Recognition with Liveness can strengthen identity assurance at this point while working alongside the insurer’s existing claims review and fraud controls.

Being an only child came with at least one clear advantage: no sibling competition for the last slice of cheesecake or carrot cake. Jordan also loves pasta, with Mediterranean and Italian food among his favourites.
His playlist takes a heavier turn, featuring Danheim, Munknorr and In Flames. When it comes to films, Ryan Reynolds, Henry Cavill and Samuel L. Jackson make the cut, while Stitch from Lilo & Stitch takes the title of favourite animated character.
Jordan was born on 4 May, which means Star Wars Day is, quite literally, his birthday. He can also spin his tongue. We are not entirely sure when this skill becomes useful, but it earns him a reliable party trick.
The quickest way to get on Jordan’s wrong side is to belittle someone or dismiss what they are trying to do. He has little patience for people who make others feel small, which says a great deal about the kind of person and leader he is.
