Our API solutions are available to all South African businesses that meet the specific requirements.

We offer various APIs that can provide solutions for different business opportunities. To make browsing our APIs easier, we have compiled an API Catalogue listing all our APIs by product. The catalogue can be filtered based on department categories (if you have a general idea about your solution) or client segments (issuers, acquirers, merchants, etc.).

Each department or use case in the catalogue is linked to an overview and detailed technical documentation, which includes eligibility criteria. Please note that some products are restricted, and access to our Playground is available to a simple process.

Commercialisation

The Datanamix Developer Hub is an open platform where developers can build their applications using any APIs in our Playground without having to pay any fees*. Once you have identified the relevant APIs for your project's needs and created an account, you can test connectivity and sample code within the Playground. Once you are ready to transition to Production, applicable fees will apply. Our pricing model for the capabilities offered by Datanamix aims to provide value to our clients per API call, or for a subscription.

Given that our platform has various capabilities serving multiple clients, our pricing model is a function of several factors, primarily your use case.
The first step, also known as "Commercialisation", involves signing a Master Service Data Agreement (MSDA) that outlines the transactional pricing and licensing terms of the Datanamix Developers Hub APIs. Our contract structure has been streamlined to include volume scaling based on your monthly usage when using any of our API services.

Once you express your intention to go live, you will receive one-on-one guidance from our commercial team throughout the process.

Onboarding

Upon complete execution of the MSDA, customers can expect to gain access to Production credentials within 72 hours. The issuing of production credentials is largely dependent on the successful onboarding and vetting of your company with our compliance and finance department, we will check due diligence. We will conduct various checks and verifications to ensure compliance with Datanamix requirements. For additional details on the onboarding workflow, refer to the Datanamix Online Registration Page.

We have also created a Quick Start Guide for Developers to provide your product/engineering teams with a detailed step-by-step process. Our engagement does not end once you go live, and we are always available to assist you in case any issues arise in Production.
